Google Hangout with California Mayan Genius Bar

     Since working with helpdesk student team, we've tried to connect and learn from others to see how they are best supporting staff and students. We are very lucky in Burlington as we are connecting globally with many educators and students all over the planet. We have had 2 Google Hangouts with our California counterparts. What is a GHO?

   Google Hangouts is an instant messaging and video chat platform developed by Google. It replaces three messaging products thatGoogle had implemented concurrently within its services, includingGoogle Talk, Google+ Messenger (formerly: Huddle), and Hangouts, a video chat system present within Google+.

The students have generated technical as well as personal questions to ask one another and are getting to know eachother and their goals as a students tech team. Its been really great to connect the opposite coasts. They connected and talked about HOUR of Code and the movie they were creating using the Grinch to share with students about taking care of their device.
